What is a keratin smoothing treatment?
A long-term blow-dry for frizzy, damaged or unruly hair.
Pioneered in Brazil, the keratin treatment can be performed on all types of chemically treated hair — bleached, highlighted, colored, permed, relaxed or previously straightened. It is used on frizzy, damaged, dull and mistreated hair.
The system eliminates frizz, unruly curls and waves without making hair too flat. Straightening irons seal the product into the hair cuticle, and the treatment gradually washes out over time.
It does not guarantee completely straight hair. Done correctly, it relaxes between 50 and 90 percent of the curl depending on texture — and drastically reduces the time you spend styling.
